Interested in sailing at Columbia?
Columbia Sailing competes in the Middle Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA). MAISA is home to many top ranked sailing schools, making for great racing close to Columbia's campus. The team competes in events every weekend during the season. The sailing conditions on Long Island Sound in the fall and spring are second to none and we take advantage of this, training every weekday in a fleet of FJs stored at Huguenot Yacht Club. The team is student-run and supported by an active alumni organization and a head coach.
